The hail stone rain in Jos Monday
By Francis Nansak
For over thirty minutes, hail stone rain disrupted vehicular movements in parts in Jos, Plateau State capital.
The rain started at about 5:30 pm, rendering shop owners to impromptu close business and motorists avoid movement.
The heavy rain also disrupted Sallah festivities around Dadin Kowa, Zarmaganda and parts of Rantya.
A resident of Dadin Kowa area of the metropolis, Emmanuel Akwuchi, said there was a time last year where such rain poured for over 40 minutes and killed an aged woman who exposed herself under the dreaded circumstance.
