Hajj 2023: Bauchi airlifts 2150 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia

Bauchi State has so far transported 2150 pilgrims, comprising 1495 male and 655 female to Saudi Arabia for this year pilgrimage.
On Sunday 11, June, 2023 the fourth flight of MaxAir Flight VGL3027 departed Bauchi to Madina at about 11:37pm with 556 Bauchi pilgrims.
The pilgrims in the fourth flight has been applauded for their patience and understanding despite the challenges on the airlift process.
The Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of the 2023, Amerul Hajj team, Yanuwa Zainabari disclosed this during a boarding of the fourth flight, saying the pilgrims has exhibited high level of maturity.

He expressed optimism that the Bauchi pilgrims will surely extend same while in the holy land.
After boarding of pilgrims, the Executive Secretary, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris announced the availability of Pilgrims’ visas at hand, adding that there was no cause for alarm as efforts round the clock are being made to ensure a hitch free hajj exercise.

Further assuring a timely airlift of the remaining Pilgrims, he called on the Hajj Officials to continue to render required services to enable the pilgrims achieve Hajj Mabrur.
