It is the end of the year 2020, and the beginning of 2021. New year always remains a powerful occasion: It’s a time when we reflect on our gratitude for the past and our hopes for the future. A chance to welcome a fresh start to reinvigorate our enthusiasm for chasing goals and dreams. We extend our utmost gratitude to Almighty for sparing our lives, and pray for long life in good health, happiness and prosperity for everyone in the Northern (Arewa) region.
The year 2020 has been a year full of tragedy with so many difficulties engulfing our region most especially the insecurity challenges of kidnappings, armed banditry, insurgency, and other criminal elements within the Nation most especially the Northern (Arewa) region. The global Covid-19 pandemic which has brought about a sizable downturn in the world economy which Nigeria is not an exception. We therefore call on all the general public to ponder and continue to pray towards a free and peaceful 2021.
We also call on our congress partners and all the general public to work together towards creating an “inclusive society” instilled with the spirit of love, compassion and forbearance that promotes peace and goodwill.
On behalf of myself, my family and the entire ACS_Congress. We extend our heartiest greetings and best wishes to all Nigerians particularly Northern (Arewa) region living home and abroad.
May we continue to remain safe and healthy, and move forward with a renewed energy to achieve the common goals of our nation’s progress.
