Hon. Innocent Umar Jabayang
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has declared Hon. Innocent Umar Jabayang as the authentic candidate for Taraba North Senatorial District of Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Hon. Jabayang’s candidature was challenged by Sen. Shuaibu Isa Lau, that Jabayang did not formally withdrew from the APC senatorial primaries held on May 2022.
Valid evidence produced by Jabayang counsel convinced the court of Jabayang’s legitimacy to participate in the general elections as the SDP Senatorial candidate.
