Hon Agara celebrates Senator Akume at 72, joins his son’s wedding reception

The Director General of the National Directorate of Employment, His Excellency Silas Agara, was in attendance at the 72nd birthday reception honoring the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.

The celebration took place at the SGF’s residence in Gboko, Benue State, following a Thanksgiving Church service at St. John the Baptist Cathedral Church.

December 27 holds special significance for Senator Akume, as it marks a historical day filled with jubilation, reflection, and gratitude toward God for His divine mercy and favor, allowing the SGF to celebrate another year of life.

The birthday reception was characterized by a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter, goodwill messages, and a crowd of enthusiastic friends, relatives, and political allies who gathered to honor the SGF, not only for his birthday but also for his significant contributions to the nation’s development.

The distinguished gathering left no one in doubt that Senator Akume is widely recognized as a results-oriented leader dedicated to uplifting others.

In a spirit of celebration and joy, the SGF’s son, Mr. Akura Akume, also marked a significant milestone as he exchanged vows with Mrs. Ershima at the NKST Church in Makurdi, Benue State.
