Senator Solomon Ewuga
A former Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister of State and one-time Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, has narrated how he was recently abducted alongside his orderly by eight kidnappers and later escaped from the heavily armed assailants.
Ewuga, a patron of the Middle Belt Journalists Forum, (MBJF), spoke to officials of the MBJF in Abuja who paid him a solidarity visit on Wednesday, following his abduction and miraculous escape.
He narrated that his kidnappers waylaid his car in the evening of Sept. 31, near Gudi town on the Akwanga-Keffi highway while he was returning to Abuja from Akwanga.
The former Nasarawa State Deputy Governor said that in the ensuing melee and confusion, somehow his driver escaped, while he and his orderly were captured by the kidnappers and taken into the nearby bushes for torture.
