How Kaduna Polytechnic developed machines to fight COVID-19

In its desire to help fight coronavirus, Kaduna Polytechnic has added an innovation to fight the pandemic.
The institution has Kaduna designed and developed two techno plants for the production of medical oxygen and sodium hypochlorite to fight the pandemic.
The‎ Rector of the polytechnic, Professor Idris Bugaje addressing the press in Kaduna Friday said the products would gulp N114million.
He explained that the school needed the funding for immediate production of the two plants to fight COVID-19 before the end of this year.
He said the products include plant for production of medical oxygen and for the production of sodium hypochlorite from table salt.
He appealed to the  Federal Government, Tetfund, Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Nigerian Content Development Fund (NCDF) and other research and funding agencies ‎to provide the polytechnic with the funds.
