How Nigeria lost 8 gallant heroes

The Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya says the death of late Brigadier General Dzarma Kennedy Zurkushi as a promcipled, dedicated and gallant Army that Nigeria ever lost.
General Yahaya made this during last enternment of late Zurkushi at the Army cementary in 232 Brigade, Gibson Jalo Contentment in Yola Adamawa state.
According to the Chief of Army staff, the late Brigadier General Zurkushi is a principled, metrixolous, honest and gallant officer who has dedicate his life to the nation.
The eight officers of the Nigerian Army who lost thier lives in the national assignment alongside Brigadier Gen Dzarma Kennedy zirkushi , commander, 28 Task force of operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) based in chibok, killed by Boko Haram on the 13 November 2021.
Other seven officers were Major Luka Barde, LT Usman Abubakar, Private Salihu Mohammed, Dan Yaro Umar, Simon Solomon, Abubakar Yusuf and oladejo Victor.
Speaking, the secretary to the government of the federation (SGF) Brr.Boss Mustapha was the special guest of honor during the burial, expressed his sadness on this unfortunate incident.
He also said, these officers were dedicated, resourceful and gallant Men who made a supreme sacrifices for the overall interest of the nation.
On his part, Governor Ahmadu umaru Fintiri described the day as ‘dark Saturday for ADAMAWA people,’ and one of the most awful in the Nigeria’s campaign against terrorist.
After saying this, the governor also donated the sum of twenty seven million naira to the families of the deceased.
The entire officers of the Nigerian Army were urged to emulate these fallen heroes who made a supreme sacrifices to the nation.
However, at the church service at the Brigade one of mourners collapse as the lost of one of their beloved gallant soldier.
It would be recalled that General Zurkushi was killed at Chibok by members of Book Haram on the November 13, 2021.
