The Chairman, National Caretaker Committee of Igala Cultural and Development Association, Mr. Emmanuel Enemona Omattah has expressed appreciation to God Almighty for His love and care of the Igala people living within and outside Igala land throughot the year 2021
.
In his New Year message to the Igala people, Comrade Omatta lamented the embarrassing absence of a strong voice on behalf of Igala Nation within the past few years inspite of the numerous political and social leaders representing the people both at the Federal and State level.
He, however, prayed that with the commencement of 2022 New Year, “God will raise both men and women with a strong voice for the redemption and revival of a vibrant voice for Igala Nation.”

He also appealed to Igala sons and daughters to assist and cooperate with one another so as to uplift the Igala Nation from its present neglect and abject poverty level of the people.
The Caretaker Chairman specifically urged the people to cooperate with officials of the National Population Committe which is expected to conduct National census exercise in second quarter of 2022. In his words, “we all know the importance of a national head count, therefore, our people must participate in the serious enlightenment campaign in order to make the exercise a huge success in Igala land”.
He therefore, on behalf of the ICDA, wish all Igala sons and daughters a happy and prosperous New Year.
