Igbo spiritual leader, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) has urged Ndi Igbo across the world to recommit to the foundational spiritual principles preserved by their ancestors.

Speaking in a recent sermon, he highlighted what he described as two essential trinities governing human existence: the cosmic trinity Sun, Moon, and Earth and the biological trinity—Father, Mother, and Self.

He explained that these elements, which are visible and directly experienced, form the true basis of life and human origin.

Ogilisi Igbo criticized the adoption of foreign religious doctrines that detach individuals from nature, arguing that such beliefs obscure spiritual truth.

The spiritual leader encouraged Igbo families to honor their lineage through symbolic reverence for parents and self, and to recognize the natural forces that sustain life.

He asserted that embracing these ancestral practices is key to cultural renewal, personal enlightenment, and the reclamation of Igbo identity.

He concluded by calling on Ndi Igbo to return to indigenous spirituality and uphold the traditions that guided their forebears for generations.
