I’ll bring change to Anambra security architecture -NNPP candidate

By Alphonsus Nweze, Onitsha

The gubernatorial candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Col. Prof. Geoffrey Onyejegbu, has vowed to bring change to Anambra State security architecture if elected in November 8, 2025 Governorship Election in the state.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Apex News Exclusive at All Saints Cathedral Onitsha, Anambra State during the 2025 Diocese on the Niger Men’s Fellowship Convention, Col Onyejegbu said part of his programmes for a new security architecture in Anambra State was to grant amnesty to the boys causing insecurity in the state.
“If elected I want to bring a change to the security architecture of the State. All the boys in Owerre-Ezukala, Orsumoghu, Lilu, Mbosi and other parts of the State will be given amnesty to come out within a week or two, failing which I will relocate Government House to those areas”.
He said before spending three months with the gun men in each of the forests, “let me know if light and darkness can cohabit”.
Prof. Onyejegbu said in this election he is the best candidate, a fact he said, the former Vice-president of the country, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo attested to.
He quoted Osinbajo as having said that with what he has, both academically and professionally, there is: “nobody in this State who has all the rare skill set I have”. And nobody can buy it from the shelves of ShopRite”
Prof Onyejegbu said some have come to agree that he is the only person who can debate and chew Governor Chukwuma Soludo like cracker biscuit.
“So I am preparing for the election very well. Anambra has alternative. I am the best candidate. They can’t miss the opportunity,” said the former Nigeria Military Attache in United States of America.
