Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir on Saturday led other dignitaries to attend the wedding ceremony of one of son’s of the former Head of Civil Service of the State, Chief Abdon Dalla Gin.
The Governor who was in the company of his wife, Aisha Bala Mohammed were among the dignitaries that attended the wedding reception immediately after the wedding ceremony held at the ECWA GoodNews Church, Murtala Mohammed Way, Bauchi.
Abdon Dalla Gin who holds the traditional title of Kaigaman Dass is currently serving as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Civil Service Affairs.
His son, Peter Abdon Gin got married to Doris Dauda Turaki while the reception took place at the Multipurpose Indoors Sports Hall, Bauchi attracting several important dignitaries from across the country.
While speaking at the reception, Bala Mohammed stressed the importance religious tolerance among the people of the state saying that it is just a thin line that separated the two main religions in the country.
He urged people of the state to imbibe the spirit of oneness, love for one another devoid of any difference for sustainable growth and development.
The Governor assured that his administration will continue to treat every segment of the state equally and fairly without placing one religion above the other
The Governor described Abdon Dalla Gin as a season administrator who worked hard to create a very strong niche for his family, himself and friends.
He then congratulates the new couple advising them to build their home on truth, trust and understanding reminding them that they owe it a point of duty to emulate the good living of their parents.
