INEC should continue sensitizing voters on new polls – Silas Agara

Mr. Agara casts his vote

Silas Ali Agara, has appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) to create more awareness for people to check thier names at the newly created polling units.

He made the appeal when he voted at CMS Primary School Gudi Polling Unit in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State and described the election as peaceful.

The former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State is also the National Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress, Independent Grassroots Campaign Council, (APC-ICC) said it took him just few minutes to be accredited and vote.

Hon Silas Agara said, “The BVAS so far is working perfectly well and the people have conducted themselves in a peaceful manner.”

The Federal Commissioner of National Population Commission, (NPC) commended the security agencies and the people for the orderly conduct of the exercise.

The security agencies were police, Nigeria Immigration Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
