Institute conferred Gombe Governor Yahaya with Executive Fellow award

Gombe State Governor,  Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has been honored with the prestigious Award of Executive Fellow by the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management (CIPDM).

This, according to the institute, is in recognition of Inuwa Yahaya’s exceptional leadership qualities, outstanding achievements, and unwavering commitment to transparency and integrity.

This was contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe to Apex News Exclusive.

The award ceremony, which took place Saturday at the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja, celebrated Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s visionary leadership that has set Gombe State on a trajectory of positive transformation. 

The CIPDM acknowledged the Governor’s remarkable accomplishments in various sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture and food security, ease of doing business, pioneering efforts in digitalization, and sound financial management.

The award is also a reflection of the trust and respect Inuwa Yahaya has earned, not only among his fellow governors but also from the people he leads. 

It also highlighted the role Governor Inuwa Yahaya played in the evolution of a new Gombe State.

The Governor, represented by Ambassador Edward Sarki, expressed gratitude for the recognition, assuring that it will spur him to continue to do more for the advancement of Gombe State. 

In addition to Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s recognition, other distinguished personalities from Gombe were also among those honoured.

The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, received the Distinguished Fellow Award, while the Head of Civil Service, Ahmed Kasimu Abdullahi was presented with an Honorary Award. Both recipients dedicated their prestigious awards to Governor Inuwa Yahaya.

Further adding to this achievement, Gombe State Commissioner for Trade, Industry and Tourism, Nasiru  Mohammed  Aliyu and his Finance and Economic  Development counterpart, Muhammad Gambo Magaji were inducted as fellowship members of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management.

The recognition not only accentuates the achievements of Governor Inuwa Yahaya, but also highlights the collective commitment of Gombe State’s leadership to excellence and positive transformation.
