Institute of Corporate Administration confers fellowship award on Aliyu Maradun

The Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD) has conferred Alh.Aliyu Maradun at the weekend with the Fellowship award for his distinguished professional contribution to Public Administration by the Membership Council of the Institute.
Established in 1993, the Institute of Corporate Administration is a human capital development organization dedicated to providing practical solutions to complex business needs by involving high calibre professionals from all sectors, who are continually committed to the search for improvement strategies and implementation of global best practices.
Dr. Godswill C. Onyekwere, Director of the ICA, made the presentation of the award certificate and plaque at the Corporate Executives Recognition Conference held at the Grand Pela Hotel, Abuja.
He said the recognition and appreciation of Aliyu Maradun’s dedication and commitment to service, upwardly mobile and visionary approach to administrative matters, professionalism in service and public spiritedness thus qualifies him as a senior member of the Institute and entitles him to append the designatory letters FCAI after his name.
Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Maradun is the Head of Commerce and the brain behind the tremendous revenue successes of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Water Board. Born in Maradun in Zamfara state, he is also the Chief Imam of Ibadar Rahman Masjid, Bwari, FCT.
Alh. Maradun has been involved in all data generation, processing, translation and management of all FCT water consumer information, physical censuses, system automation, modifications and transformation from February 1992 to date, with relative contributions in most recorded successes in the system.
Since he took over the office in late 2022, the revenue base of the agency has jumped above expectations, from figures hovering around N178 million monthly, the FCT Water Board now records nothing less than N300 million monthly as revenue.
In an interview with Aliyu Maradun, he expressed appreciation to the institute for the recognition, adding that it is a great honour that the institute can identify people contributing to the national development of the country.
He noted that the conferment of the fellowship by the institute is a recognition that he has been doing well and as well serve as an encouragement for him to do more.
