Integrity: Former Kogi Deputy Governor, Dr. Salawu inducted into Chartered Institute of Forensics, Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria

A former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Dr. Phillips Salawu, CCrFA, has been inducted into the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria, (CIFCFIN).
The induction took place on Friday 31 May, 2024 at the graduation ceremony of the Institute at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Karu, Abuja.
CIFCFIN is the body statutorily empowered to fight corruption through its members’ Investigating, Detecting and Preventing Frauds and Irregularities in the Public and in the Private Sectors of the Nigerian Economy.
Dr. Salawu was the pioneer National Director of Finance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 1998 to 2002 and later became Deputy Governor of Kogi State between 2003 and 2012.
He is a Financial Technocrat, Chartered Corporate Accountant, Chartered Public Finance Accountant, a Chartered Banker, Chartered StockBroker, Chartered Tax Consultant, Chartered Mediator and Conciliator, Certified Forensic Auditor and Lawyer.
Dr. Salawu is a top contender for the seat of the PDP National Chairman following the exit of Senator Dr Iyorchia Ayu in March this year.
