The Director General of the Islamic Cultural Centre in London, Dr Ahmad Al-Dubayan, has pledged to sponsor a global peace mission by the Directorate of Evangelism of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) to at least 20 Islamic countries.

Dr Al-Dubayan made the commitment on Thursday when he hosted a delegation representing His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu at the Centre’s headquarters on Park Road, London.

The delegation was led by Head of the BCS Directorate for Evangelism, PCS (Prof.) David Irefin, and included Secretary Justice Osai Ahiakwo, Archbishop Richard Afrankess, Christ Ambassador Ebiye Asuka, and the Deputy Administrator of BCS UK, Archbishop Mitchell Eboigbe.

The Islamic Cultural Centre DG said several Muslim nations had also indicated readiness to support such evangelical missions aimed at promoting peace and healing in troubled communities, adding that the message of His Holiness would be well received in many parts of the Islamic world.

During the meeting, Dr Al-Dubayan, accompanied by senior Centre official Mr Ayaz Ahmed, appealed for urgent divine intervention from His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu over the Gaza crisis. He urged the BCS leadership to pray for an end to the killing of Palestinians in the ongoing conflict.

Both parties agreed to pursue joint efforts to reconcile hostile religious communities and to work toward convening a global peace conference to address rising tensions across regions.

While conducting the BCS delegation around the London Central Mosque complex, Dr Al-Dubayan further requested that the Brotherhood extend its peace message to Jewish and Hindu leaders. He said such outreach could help discourage attacks against Muslims in Israel and India.

Responding, Prof. Irefin delivered a special message from His Holiness, stressing that the world’s escalating conflicts, especially in Gaza, demanded urgent spiritual intervention.

He said the solution lay “in the mighty intervention of His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, the King of kings and Lord of lords.”

He cited past instances of what he described as divine intervention linked to His Holiness, including the liberation of Black South Africans during apartheid, the release of Nelson Mandela, and the prophetic fulfilment of a Black man becoming President of the United States.

Prof. Irefin also informed the Centre’s leadership that the delegation had already met with Jewish and Hindu leaders in London to deliver the same peace message.

The visit ended with the presentation of BCS literature, including The Age of Oneness, and both sides agreed to deepen collaboration on global peace initiatives.
