Jaiz Bank Plc: New corporate identity not ceremonial rebrand – MD/CEO Dr. Musa
By Anthony Maliki, Abuja
Foremost Non-Interest bank, (Islamic), Jaiz Bank Plc, has unveiled new corporate milestones which its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Haruna Musa, described as beyond ceremonial rebrand but reflects a deliberate effort to refresh its identity, modernise platforms and reaffirm commitment to ethical, inclusive and customer-focused banking.
“Today, we unveil our new logo, payoff line, and vibrant colour palette. Yet, while our outward expression is evolving, our foundation remains unchanged: the values and Shariah-compliant principles that have always defined us,” he explained.
The Managing Director spoke on Tuesday in Abuja during a press briefing to formally unveil the bank’s new corporate identity.
According to him, the official unveiling of Jaiz Bank’s new corporate identity is more than just a celebration of a new look, it is a defining milestone in its journey, nearly fourteen years since the bank pioneered Non-Interest (Islamic) Banking in Nigeria.
He pointed that the bank is retiring the familiar green and gold that have served well and embracing a dynamic new palette of Deep Blue – symbolising trust, stability, and its reliability as Nigeria’s foremost ethical bank, Yellow – representing energy, optimism, and our customer-first spirit of innovation and Grey – conveying sophistication, balance, and our ability to evolve while holding true to timeless principles.
Dr. Musa said the transformation speaks to a deeper shift in banking—one where customers demand transparency, fairness, and social impact and with the refreshed identity, the bank’s focus is clear – to deliver accessible, ethical banking that celebrates Nigeria’s rich cultural and religious diversity.
On the new payoff line, “With You for Life”, the Managing Director said it “reflects our promise to stand with our customers through every stage of their journey—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.”

He rolled some achievements the bank received globally including “The Quality Choice Prize 2025 (Award for ethics and quality management), “Most Promising Islamic Bank 2024 (Global Islamic Finance awards), “The Strongest Islamic Retail Bank in Nigeria 2024 (Cambridge IFA), “Dual recognition of Best Islamic Bank in West Africa by International investor and “magazine & Best Islamic Bank in Nigeria 2024 (Capital Finance International).”
Others are “Best in MSME Non-Interest Banking 2024 – Nairametrics MSME finance awards and ranked 12th among the Top 100 Strongest Islamic Banks Globally (The Asian Banker), ahead of institutions such as IBBL Bangladesh and HSBC Amanah Malaysia.
He stressed that the rebrand is not just a cosmetic change but a bold statement of intent. “It is about who we are, what we stand for, and the future we are building,” he noted.
He thanked the media for consistent support in telling the bank’s story and amplifying its impact has been invaluable and looking forward to strengthening the partnership as it usher in an exciting new chapter for Jaiz Bank.
