Alhaji Isa Ida Ibi

Acting Chairman Jalingo Local Government in Taraba State Alhaji Isa Ida Ibi has commended security operatives in for their efforts in fighting crimes particularly youths restiveness in the State. Alhaji Isa Ida In who made this known while speaking with Apex News Exclusive in his office in Jalingo.
He said the efforts of the security comprising the military, Police, Civil Defence, Vigilante and the various communities has drastically reduced crimes in the State Capital.
The Acting Chairman who doubles as the Head of Local Government Administration HOLGA of the Council stated that in the past youths restiveness was at it’s peak when the youths formed parallel base, engage in fighting one another going about with dangerous weapons and openly
consuming illicit drugs attaking innocent people at putting them in constant fear wounding them and sometimes caused their death.
Isa Ida expressed happiness that with the adequate security measures in place the dubious acts of the Youths have been cut down but however admitting that there are still some pockets of insecurity in Jalingo being the State Capital.
The Acting Chairman blamed some parents for not properly monitoring the activities of their children allowing them to engage in all forms of atrocities although not all the parents are weak but their children do not listen to them.
He cautioned the youths not to allow themselves to be used by politicians and the elite now that the 2023 elections are fast approaching they should avail themselves with the various skills acquisition programmes provided by the Taraba State and Jalingo Local Government to better their lots instead of being used as thugs.
He called on Tarabans to continue to provide useful information to necessary agencies on movement’s of suspected individuals or group to enable the Government act fast to nib all security challenges in the bud according to him “fighting insecurity is a collective responsibility and all hands must be on deck for a crime free society”.
