Honourable Jidauna Tula has taken over affairs of Ministry of Agriculture as Commissioner.
The Acting Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Barrister Saratu Musa Jibrin, handed over affairs of the Ministry to the newly posted commissioner.
In a well organized and colourful reception to welcome the Commissioner in his office, the commissioner expressed gratitude to Almighty God and appreciate Bauchi State Government under the progressive watch of Governor Bala Mohammed for finding him worthy of re – appointment as commissioner for the second time in the state.
Hon. Tula, while appreciating the reception accorded him by the management of the ministry, solicited for their cooperation and understanding in order to move the ministry forward to the expectations of the state government to justify Governor Bala’s huge investment in agriculture sector in the interest of farmers and consumers in the state.
Tula assured all directors and staff in the ministry of caring them along and that he will operate an open door policy whereby every member of the ministry will participate in making the ministry great to the satisfaction of his boss Bala Mohammed and the good people of Bauchi state.
He call on them to re-double their efforts and commitment by coming to office in good time and closing as stipulated in the civil service rule. “By doing so, dedicate yourselves to duties assigned to you and total loyalty to the state government, i will make you all happy in the ministry”.
Earlier in her welcome address, Barrister Saratu Musa Jibrin, expressed happiness for having a workaholic in person of Hon. Tula as commissioner in the state.
While introducing Directors and other staff of the ministry to the commissioner, Barrister Saratu described them as very committed, hardworking, industrious and very loyal.
She assured the commissioner of total support and commitment by all staff.
