Judiciary charged to uphold professionalism as cardinal point of practice

The judiciary have been charged to uphold professionalism as the ethics and streamlined the practice as the cardinal point.
Adamawa State Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahaman gave the charge at a workshop is tagged “Annotation of Administration of Criminal Justice Practice Direction, 2024” to enhanced professional practice for the Upper Area Court Judges and Magistrates.
Justice Hafsat noted that, the practice direction is meant to streamline judicial practice processes, reduce delays and ensure justice is served timely and fairly.
She challenged the participants to as ministers in the temple of justice, to play a vital role by ensuring that justice and equity are accessible to all.
A facilitator at the seminar, Justice Felix Daniel Nzarga cautioned participants against judicial malpractice and aberration in their professional roles.
