Former gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in Bauchi state and former SSG who abandoned the ticket, Barr Ibrahim Kashim Mohammed has been compensated with reappointment as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Recall that, Barr Ibrahim Kashim announced on Tuesday that he had withdrawn from the gubernatorial race of the PDP on personal grounds to pave the way for his boss Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir pick the ticket.
The reappointment was contained in a statement by Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor of Bauchi State released Thursday evening.
According to the Statement, “Sen. Bala A. Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State has approved the re- appointment of Barr. Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim as the Secretary to the Bauchi State Government” .
The statement further contained that, “His re- appointment is informed by his track record of sincerely, loyalty , commitment and wealth of experience in the discharge of assigned responsibilities” .
Barr. Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim was the immediate past Secretary to the Bauchi State Government whose reappointment takes immediate effect .
Last week Thursday, Barr Ibrahim Kashim Mohammed was declared as the winner of the PDP gubernatorial primary election only for him to announce his withdrawal last Tuesday to pave way for the Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir to pick the guber ticket having lost the presidential ticket.
