Newly elected executives of Bauchi chapter of Nigerian Bar Association being inaugurated

The Bauchi State chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has inaugurated its newly elected executive  officers to run it affairs for the next two years.

In his speech after the inauguration at the High Court No 1, Bauchi, the chairman of the occasion, Justice Lamido Kabir Umar, congratulated the newly elected officers and urged them carry all members along in the interest and progress of the Association.

While calling on the new executive officers to justify the confidence repose in them, Justice Umar, used the occasion to appeal on all members to join hands and support the new executive for the good of Association.

The immediate past Chairman of the Association in the state, Barrister Jibrin S. Jibrin, appreciated members for giving him the opportunity to serve for the past two years.

He called on members to support the new executive officers of the Association in order to make their fruitful contributions for the upliftment of NBA in the state and the country as a whole.

Earlier in his inaugural speech, the newly elected Chairman, Dr. Ibrahim Danjuma, described the NBA as the matchless professional association in Nigeria.

The Chairman promised not to take this position lightly or for granted. saying “I fully understand the responsibilities that you all have bestowed upon me, the great opportunity you have provided us, with your votes and support, is unexpressive we feel deeply grateful and admired”.

The chairman thanked members of the electoral committee for a job well done and for their patience and co-operation throughout the elevation period.
