A governorship aspirant in Kaduna State under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Barrister Mohammed Sani Abbas, had an illustrious Town Hall meeting with the PDP chairmen and delegates from five local government areas of Makarfi, Giwa, Kudan, Kubau and Ikara soliciting for their support and votes.
Barrister Sani Abbas in his address to the chairmen, the delegates and other party faithful as well as his teaming supporters who flooded the hall to the brim, said that “leadership is a trust and I will stand by the trust which you will entrusted to me through your votes”.
He also assured the people that he will continue to be accessible to the people, there is no barricade between him and the people irrespective of one’s background, class or believe “I am for you and certainly you shall be part of our government”.
The astute Barrister who is a man of calm personality and a man of his words, said that “I will not go to sleep when the people under my care are not sleeping, I will rise to the task in defending every nook and cranny of my jurisdiction”.
He advised the delegates not to give their votes to any Aspirant who cannot deliver. Rather, they should elect the right man for the job and that right man is Barrister Sani Abbas.
In his submission to the delegates from the five Local Government, the chairman of the Campaign Council, Hon.Chief Abubakar G Haruna, a former Commissioner of Chieftaincy Affairs and PDP Kaduna State Chairman, said the present administration are praying and wishing that the PDP should do the mistake of giving the ticket to any aspirant but not Barrister Sani Abbas, because they (APC) know his capacity.
“God has blessed our party with a good product and a good one at that, we are here to meet with you because you matter most to us and we need your votes to ensure that Brr. Sani Abbas reclaim our stolen mandate, we are also aware that some delegates are intimidated on who should be their choice candidate but I assure you that your votes should all go to Brr Mohammed Sani Abbas, with Sani Abbas you are sure of good governance and you shall enjoy the dividends of democracy”.
In his closing remarks, the Director of Contact and Mobilization, Charles Tailor, promised the delegates that they will come back to the same hall and have a wonderful time of celebration with them if they give Barrister Sani Abbas the ticket to flag the party to victory in 2023.
Also in another development, the people’s choice and leading gubernatorial aspirant Barrister Sani Abbas was in the home of Professor Ango Abdullahi, who he referred to as a true father. The visit is to show support and pray for the release of his son who was abducted by the so called bandit.
The renowned Professor gave him a fatherly blessings and tell him not to relent in his good effort towards salvaging our dear state from the sorry condition bedeviling the people.
