Kaduna governorship 2023: My government won’t be based on religion, ethnic sentiments – Hon. Adinga, Labour Party candidate

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for Kaduna State, Honourable Shunom Adinga has explained that religion and ethnicity would have no place in his government.
Rather, he said, one of his cardinal points if elected would be to identify human capital potentials that would form his government.
He spoke in Abuja in an exclusive interview with Apex News Exclusive on the backdrop of the religious and ethnic diversity of Kaduna State.
According to him, religion factor in Africa has been one of the areas that has led to the underdevelopment the entire continent and has now become point of political determination.
Hon. Adinga noted that when the spiritual meets with physical attribute, it might not really work because ones’ spiritualism might not be the same with democracy or constitution.
He told Apex News Exclusive that a leader must have tenacity and able to look at the angle of progress first based on human capacity, individual capacity and individual knowledge to work.
He said religion matter is individual faith while governance is a collective of individuals with a constitutional authority to be govern and govern.
The governorship hopeful stressed that for any peaceful society in the world today, there must be a peaceful leader among them.
On his chances at the polls, Hon. Adinga pointed out votes of the electorate now counts and people are tired of the present bad leadership.
Besides, Hon. Adinga said, his interest in politics has to do with people orientation and people-oriented programmes and the believe in the philosophy of human capital.
