Kaduna South Senator wants constituents to love one another despite differences

Senator Danjuma Tella Laah of Southern Kaduna Senatorial District has called on the people of Southern Kaduna to be tolerant and embrace one another in love irrespective of tribal and religious differences in order to pave way for meaningful development in the zone.

Senator Laah made the call during the ground breaking ceremony of 20 beds Primary Health care (PHC) in Gbonkok village, Arak ward, in Sanga local government area.

He said the PHC would bring succour, better health and employment opportunities to the community.

“This health facility will reduce high cases of maternal and child mortality and also impact meaningfully on the community.”

Speaking on behalf of the community, the traditional ruler of Gwantu, Brigadier General Ilya Yamma (rtd), who commended the effort of the senator who facilitated the construction of the clinic in his chiefdom, said the PHC will in no small way help his people.

Speaking through the Gwantu Traditional Council Secretary, Jibril S. Kogi, the Chief called on the people of his chiefdom to handle the facility properly when completed.

He urged the senator to also recruit qualified doctors and nurses to take care of the clinic so that people from far and near will also benefit from the facility.

The facility will comprised a laboratory, delivery room, pharmacy, offices and 20 beds and boreholes.
