Kaduna traditional ruler tasks varsity students to be good ambassadors

The traditional ruler of Kaninkon Chiefdom in Kaduna State, Tum Nikyop I, Malam Tanko Tete, has tasked students of the Kafanchan Campus of Kaduna State University (KASU), to be good ambassadors of the institution both in character and academics.

He gave the challenge when he received on courtesy visit, students from the Association of Quantity Surveyors, KASU chapter at his palace in Ungwan Fari, Kaninkon.

The Tum Nikyop also advised the students to always take their studies seriously so as to be productive to the society after they might have graduated from school.

The Royal father prayed that the campus will one day metamorphosed into a stand alone University.

Malam Tanko Tete appealed to the Kaduna State Government to continue to support the campus with the needed facilities that will improve on the quality of learning in the school.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and Association President, Ebeneza Jock, said they where at the palace to seek for fatherly blessings and guidance to succeed in their educational pursuit.

They commended the Tum Nikyop for always championing the cause of peace in his domain which they noted has created a conducive atmosphere of learning for them.

The Association also presented a plague to the Tum Nikyop as a symbol of his contribution to the growth and development of the school.
