Kafin Madaki Old Students Association donate drugs, medical consumables to alma mater in Bauchi to promote improved hygiene, healthcare services

Medical consumables and sanitary items worth thousands of naira have been donated to students in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State to promote improved personal, environmental hygiene and healthcare services.
The donation was made by the Kafin Madaki Old Students Association (KAMOSA) in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State as part of its social responsibility to the public.
While handing over the items on Monday, KAMOSA Coordinator, Mrs Fadila Abdullahi said that the Alumni is committed to supporting the state government’s efforts in providing enabling learning environment to students for quality education.
She commended the Alumni for extending the gesture and giving back from out of their achievements to the Alma mater, Government Girls Special School, Kafin Madaki saying that some members had visited the school in January this to ascertain the needs of the school.
The Coordinator also said that the action was as a result of the visit, adding that the Alumni would not relent in its bid to contribute to the development of the school.
According to her, “We have donated Rapid Diagnostic Kits for Malaria today as the rainy season sets in. Others consumables and drugs for the treatment of gastroenteritis to mention but few”.
The students were counseled on strategies to improve their academic performance and excelling in their future careers.
Mrs Hadiyatu Suleiman, a member of KAMOSA advised the students on commitments and mindset on obtaining education and becoming good ambassadors of the school, state and country at large.
Mrs Hadiza Mohammed, Vice Principal Academics of the school said that the school needed drugs to provide access to healthcare services at all times.
She appreciated the old students for their gesture and urged them to maintain the tempo in supporting the Bauchi state Government in providing quality education.
The school was established in 1983 with only boys; it was later converted to a special school for girls in the year 2000 under the administration of former Governor Ahmadu Adamu Muazu.
