Katsina Governor, Radda appoints heads of agencies, more Special Advisers, Technical Assistants

The Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the appointment of prominent individuals to head key agencies and serve as Special Advisers and Technical Assistants to his government.

This is aimed to bolster the administration’s efforts and enhance the services offered to the people of the state.

The appointments were contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed on Monday, 31 July, 2023.

The Special Advisers are:

  1. Alhaji Abdulkarim Aminu Bello Masari will serve as the Special Adviser Special Duties, performing key strategic roles for the state government.
  2. Engr. Yakubu Nuhu Danja assumes the position of Special Adviser on Rural Economy, bringing his technical expertise to promote sustainable development.
  3. Hajiya Hadiza Maikudi will serve as the Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs. Her diplomatic approach will foster collaboration and synergy among different levels of governance.
  4. Hajiya Jamila Abdu Mani assumes the position of Special Adviser on Girls’ Child Education. With her passion for education, she is determined to improve educational opportunities for girls.

5.Alhaji Sabo Musa Hassan becomes the Senior Special Assistant SSA to the Governor on Religious Affairs. He assists the governor on religious matters in the state.

The Technical Assistants are, Arc. Bashir Mohammed Idris who has been appointed as the Technical Assistant on Housing and Mallam Nurudeen Mohammed Tela is the Technical Assistant to the Governor on Treasury matters.

The newly appointed heads of agencies ara Alhaji Muhammad Lawal Zubairu has been appointed as the Coordinator of Katsina Youth Craft Centre. With his exceptional expertise and dedication, he is set to steer the center towards greater heights, Alhaji Umar Sabi’u Sukuntuni assumes the position of Registrar at Katsina Youth Craft Centre. His wealth of experience promises to contribute significantly to the development of the center and Alhaji Shamsudeen Sanusi Ahmed has been appointed as the Director-General, Protocol. His experience and leadership traits will undoubtedly enhance the smooth functioning of the protocol department.

According to the statement, Governor Radda expressed his confidence in the appointed individuals, stating, “These appointments reflect our commitment to driving progress and development in Katsina State.

“We believe that their dedication, experience, and expertise will play a vital role in achieving our vision for a prosperous and vibrant state,” he said.

    The appointments are effective immediately.
