Late former Speaker Ghali Umar Na’Abba

Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has expressed sincere condolences to the government and people of Kano State on the demise of Hon. Ghali Na Abba, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Ghali Na Abba who died in the early hours of Wednesday served as Speaker from 1999 to 2003 as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This was contained in a statement by
Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University in 1979 and completed a postgraduate programme on Leadership and Good Governance at Harvard University in 2004.
Governor Radda said Ghali Na-Abba was a shining star during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s first term in office, he left a legacy of selfless service to his people and the nation in general. ‘We will surely miss him”.
Governor Radda shares the sorrow of this loss, offering sympathies to all affected by Na’Abba’s departure.
The strong connection between the two states is acknowledged, with Governor Radda emphasizing solidarity during this challenging period.
The Katsina State Government stands by Kano State in mourning Na’Abba, recognizing his contributions to public service.
The Governor extends thoughts and prayers to the grieving families, wishing them strength and solace in cherished memories.
Governor Radda asked Allah to grant his soul eternal rest in Jannatul firdausi.
