Katsina Governor Radda receives new Assistant Inspector General of Police, appreciates synergy with security agencies

The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD, has received the newly appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 14, AIG Basil O. Idegwu, in his office.
The AIG was accompanied by the Katsina State Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, along with other senior police officers.
The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the new AIG and brief the Governor on his assumption of command at the zonal headquarters.
During the meeting, Governor Radda expressed his appreciation for the existing synergy among security agencies in the state. He emphasized the critical importance of enhanced collaboration, particularly in light of the ongoing security challenges facing Katsina State and the northern region as a whole.
The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the efforts of law enforcement agencies in combating insecurity and ensuring the safety of all residents in Katsina State.
