Katsina Ministry of Basic Education, society of engineers, others visit AGILE projects in Kaita

The Katsina State Commissioner of Basic Education, Hon. Hadiza Yar’adua Tuggar in collaboration with the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the AGILE officials, have inspected ongoing and completed secondary schools projects in Kaita, and Katsina under the AGILE programme.
The visit, aimed to assess the progress and quality of the projects, which are designed to improve the learning environment and enhance the quality of education in the state.
The schools visited include; GSSS, Dankaba, GSSS, Yandaki, GSSS, Natsinta, GJSS, Natsinta, Bilingual and Sunkais.

The team inspected infrastructure developments, including classroom renovations, laboratory upgrades, and facility upgrades at several secondary schools in the local government area.
During the visit, the Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the progress made and commended the AGILE team for their efforts in enhancing the educational infrastructure in Katsina State.

She emphasized the importance of providing conducive learning environments for students and praised the collaboration between the Ministry and the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
The AGILE coordinator, Malam Mustapha Shehu briefed the Commissioner on the projects’ progress, highlighting the challenges and successes achieved so far.
Also speaking, the Chairman delegation committee, Engr. Lawal Salisu called the contractors to complete the work before the deadline.
He cautioned the contractors against substandard work, emphasizing that it falls short of the AGILE project’s standards.
