Katsina SSG, Chief of Staff, others attend funeral of late Bakori LG chairman
Top government officials, political associates, and members of the public gathered in Bakori Tuesday morning to pay their final respects to the late Chairman of Bakori Local Government Area, Alhaji Aminu Danhamidu, who passed away on the night of Monday, June 9, after a brief illness.
The funeral prayer, which took place at 11:00 AM in accordance with Islamic rites, was led by the Chief Imam of Bakori , Sheikh Sa’ad Sani Imam.
A large crowd turned out for the prayer, reflecting the deep respect and admiration many had for the late chairman.
Alhaji Danhamidu was widely known as a humble, dedicated, and selfless leader who worked tirelessly for the development of his community. Those who worked closely with him described him as a man of integrity who led with sincerity, compassion, and a strong commitment to peace and progress at the grassroots level.
Prayers were offered for Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
His passing is seen as a huge loss not just for the people of Bakori, but for the entire Katsina State, where he earned a reputation as a bridge-builder and a dependable public servant.

Rabo Tambaya Danja, Several local government chairmen, Members of the State Executive Council, Religious scholars, senior civil servants, security personnel, and political stakeholders
The turnout spoke volumes about the impact Alhaji Aminu Danhamidu had on his people and the deep sense of loss his death has brought to the community.
