Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda accompanied by his Zamfara State counterpart, Malam Dauda Lawal led delegation to the historic city of Daura for the turbaning ceremony of Dr. Baraka Sani as Kilishin Sarkin Daura and Magajiyar Sandamu.
The event was attended by prominent dignitaries including the governors’ wives Hajia Zulaihat Dikko Radda and her Zamfara State counterpart, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal and former Kano State Governor Ibrahim Shekarau.

The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq Umar, presided over the traditional investiture, presenting Dr. Sani with a staff of office and royal sword.
In his address, the Emir emphasized the emirate’s commitment to honouring individuals who have distinguished themselves in service to humanity.
He urged the newly titled Dr. Sani to uphold the emirate’s traditions and continue supporting the common people. The Emir also appealed to the northern governors to remain steadfast in protecting the region’s integrity.
