Kebbi Commissioner of Police decorates 70 promoted officers, changes them to uphold professionalism

Following the recent promotion by the Police Service Commission (PSC), based on the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Seventy Senior Police Officers have been promoted to their next ranks in Kebbi State Command.
Performing the ceremony, CP Bello M. Sani described their promotion as a thing of great joy with a sense of pride, as it was a remarkable transition in their professional career and called for a commesurate level of discipline and responsibility.
He changed them to upscale their skills in discharging their duty to the Nation and be more acquainted with the updated Laws of the land as well as Police Act and Regulations in line with the new world order especially on how to handle emerging security challenges.
The newly promoted senior officers thanked the Police Service Commission and the Inspector General of Police for finding them worthy of the promotion and thanked the CP for his kind gesture, mentorship and fatherly advise to them and also promised to raise the bar high in discharging their responsibilities.
The decoration took place at the Command’s Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi led by the CP, Bello M Sani, witnessed by his Management Team, family members and friends of the promotees who added colour to the ceremony.

Officers promoted to the next level included Assistant Superintendents of Police to Deputy Superintendents of Police, DSP to Superintendents of Police and the SPs moved to the ranks of Chief Superintendents of Police.
