Kebbi political movement, TKG, seeks LG chairmen’s support on propagating government policies, programmes

The Tinubu Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity (TKG) has appealed to Local Government Council Chairmen in the state to be proactive in supporting government policies and programmes to facilitate rapid growth and development in the society.
The founder and promoter of TKG in the state and also the Managing Director of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Ahmed Umar Faruk made the plea while presenting letters of appointment into the movement to the council chairmen in Birnin Kebbi.
All the 21 local government council chairmen received their letters as Ambassadors of TKG in their respective areas, urging them to resist any emerging group with the negative intent of sabotaging the progress of Governor Nasir Idris Administration.
Engr. Faruk said the movement was established with the sole aim of promoting and publicizing activities of both the federal and state governments, especially the the projects executed at grassroots levels aimed at improving their socioeconomic wellbeing.
He said with selfless deduction to humanity the Council Chairmen would not fall short of success, saying the Lifetime achievement award on exemplary leadership and integrity he received from his staff was a testimony of the hard work he put in his entire career and would always remember it as mark of recognition of his dedication to humanity..
Also speaking, the Director General of the movement, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant, State Chairman of the movement, Alhaji Kabiru Labbo Jega, alongside other officials like; Alhaji Umaru Idris Buro and Dr Hussaini Kangiwa, described the meeting as very vital and apt.
According to them, the meeting between the council chairmen, local government coordinators and state executive council members of the movement was for familiarization purpose.
They observed that the meeting had allowed members of movement to know one other and would work together to achieve a common goal of promoting policies and programmes of the present administration at both state and federal levels.
