The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, Dr. Abdulrahman Jimoh Muhammed, has advised christians to be more dedicated in their services to God and mankind.
This was contained in his new year message to the Polytechnic Christian community and other Christians world wide.
According to the Rector, celebration of the birth of Christ and libration of mankind with His blood calls all Christians to move closer to God, most especially at this time that Nigeria and the entire world is facing a lot of challenges.
He added that since the ultimate protector is God, the best step to get out of the present difficult time is to dedicate our life to the service of God more than before, so that He can respond to our calls.
Dr. Abdul there fore enjoined both Christians and other religious bodies to see the new year as another grace given to all mankind to retrace our steps and mend our ways.
