Late Hassan: President Buhari condoles with Engineer Sule as Shettima, Lalong, wives of Northern governors commiserate with Nasarawa First Family

President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, over the demise of Hassan Abdullahi Sule, first son of the Governor.

President Buhari, in a condolence message delivered during the third-day prayer session, in honour of the late Hassan, which held in Gudi, on Sunday, described the tragic passing on of the Nasarawa first son as a great loss.

Represented at the event by his Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, the President said the loss of any Nigerian saddens him, but that the loss of the first son of the first citizen of Nasarawa State is even a bigger loss.

President Buhari therefore, extended his condolence to the Emir of Lafia, HRH Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad (rtd), former governors of the state, including the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, amongst other critical stakeholders.

While praying for Allah, SWT to give the deceased eternal rest and to grant him Aljannat Firdaus, the President commiserated with all those that gathered at the third-day prayer to share in the sorrow but at the same time to appreciate the life very well led, of a family that have given a lot of value to what it means to be a good son, a good citizen.

“And we pray to the Almighty Allah not only to grant him Aljannat Firdaus but also to give the family and the government and people of this great State, the fortitude to bear the loss,” President Buhari added.

Meanwhile, Nigerians from all walks of life, turned up in Gudi, to share the grief and condole with the Nasarawa State first family.

Senator Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate of the APC, accompanied by the Ditector General of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organisation and Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, conveyed the condolence message of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the APC.

Also, wives of the governors of the 19 Northern states, led by the Minister of State FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani, were in Gudi to commiserate with Engineer Sule, the Nasarawa First Lady, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule and the people of the state.

Not to be left out were the Nasarawa State governorship candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), David Emmanuel Ombugadu and Yakubu Maidoya of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), who arrived Gudi to commiserate with Governor Sule over the demise of his son.
