Lockdown to save future together says Lami, wife of Adamawa governor

The wife of the Adamawa State Governor, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has called on people of the state to bear with the government measures taken to fight COVID-19.

In a statement, she called on families especially husbands and wives to bear with one another and live in peace during this lockdown.

“This is a very hard time for everyone but it is expected that we all maintain peace in our home,” she said.

The wife of the governor reiterates call against domestic violence, against women and children.

She also urged the general public to ensure that good hygiene is maintained especially in the observing regular hand washing, social distancing and crowded places among others.

Her Excellency cautioned agianst stigmatization of people who have tested positive to COVID-19 “they need our support and love now more than ever.”

She said people should “‘Stay At Home”, so that we can have a better state and nation for all of us. God Bless us all.”
