Cloths worth over N650,000 was destributed to 150 orphans and venerable children in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Distributing the cloths to the beneficiaries at Medical and health Workers union secritariat in Alkaleri, the Chairman and founder of Mallam Kawu Orphanage and Youth Rehabilitation Centre Bauchi, Mallam Abdullahi Tahir, said his organisation is Non Governmental organisation with the sole aim of assisting orphans and venerable children particulalarly in this blesseful month of Ramadan.
Mallam Abdullahi disclosed that 100 out of the 150 beneficiaries were Boys while 50 were Girls sellected across the Local Government by the centres officials in conjuction with the local Government officials.
He explained that assisting orphans has great advantageses here and after and therefore called on well to do individuals, groups and cooporate organisations to invest heavely in not only assisting the orphans with cloths but take complete responsibilities of them in all aspect of life as your biological children along side venerable children, God will surely shawer his mercy on those who take care of them.
Mallam Abdullahi said this little contribution he is distributing to this children in Alkaleri today is part of his organisations social responsibilities to enable the beneficiaries enjoy the Sallah festivity like other children who’s parents are alive.
Similarly as part of his organisations social responsibilities, Mallam Abdullahi visited the General Hospital Alkaleri and presented some money and packeged gifts to all patients in the Female Ward.
The Chairman of Alkaleri Local Government Council Alhaji Yusuf Kigan, represented by his Deputy at the occation Hon. Idris Mohammad Bappah, expressed gratitude and thanked the organisation for considering and finding orphans and venerable children in Alkaleri worthy of being assisted.
He said when he received the message that Mallam kawu Youth Rehabilitation and Orphanage Centre Bauchi is coming to Alkaleri to give Sallah Cloths to 150 Children, he was not surprise having known who the Chairman of the organisation Mallam Abdullahi Mohammad Tahir is if it comes to this kind of gesture.
The Council Chairman said Mallam Abdullahi is a well known Youth Rehabilitation and Orphanage Centre that produced and developed purposeful Youth and orphans not only in Nigeria but whole of west Africa.
While thanking the organisation for the kind gesture, Yusuf assured the centre of doing justice in the distribution of whole Sallah Cloths to the targeted beneficiaries and prayed Almighty Allah to reward the leadership of the centre abundantly.
