Malle emerges Taraba APC candidate for Jalingo-Yorro-Zing Federal Constituency bye-election

Aminu Ibrahim Malle has emerged as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) bye election scheduled for February 3rd, 2024 following the demise of the elected member Isma’ila Yushau Maihanci shortly after he was elected even before he was sworn-in.
Announcing the results, Chairman of the Electoral Committee Lawan Isma,ila disclosed that Malle scored 41 votes to defeat four other contestants to clinched the flag.
Commenting on the election,
some members of the party in Taraba State showered encomiums on the State Chairman Barrister Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi for a successful conduct of the Primary Election that produced Hon. Malle.
An APC stalwart in the state, Alhaji Tukur Sambo Sintali explained that the free and fare conduct of the primaries will definately move the party forward because with the emergence of Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Malle, APC will wax stronger not only in Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency but in Taraba State at large.
“Now that we have a democrat with vast experience in the Legislature APC will move forward in Taraba State” He said.
Another strong member of the party from Wukari Local Government, Silas Gani also commended the State Chairman of the party for what he called an effort to revamp APC in Taraba State saying the emergence of Malle as APC candidate in the bye-election is a reflection of the voices of the people.
“Everyone knew that during 2023 General elections especially when parties were conducting primaries to select candidates for various elective positions, some few cabals in the APC hijacked the machinery of the Party in Taraba State and imposed their preferred candidates”. Ganin said.
“Their ill-motives had effected the chances of the party to win various elective positions which resulted to courts cases while other parties were campaigning, we were in courts settling matters emanating from our primaries”.
“But what I observed from the way and manner Barr. El-Sudi coordinated the primary election for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency, I concluded that the man is out to revamp the APC in Taraba State,” he noted.
Also speaking, APC Publicity Secretary in the State, Aaron Artimas commended the delegates for their maturity and conducting themselves peacefully during the primary election adding that in any election, there must be a winner and a looser adding that everybody was taken along from the initial stage to the conclusion of the exercise.
“As we are repeatedly saying, this primary election was not conducted by Taraba State EXCO of the Party rather we only provided a conducive environment for the Electoral Committee appointed by the National Secretariat of the party” Artimas reiterated.
“They came with their regulations, presented them to the aspirants We didn’t interfare with their assignment. We were only receiving instructions,” he explained.
Artimas described Hon. Malle as a good candidate for the party who is acceptable to all because he has legislative experience as a two term member of the National Assembly and asked people of Jalingo, Yorro and Zing Federal Constituency to vote him for the progress of the area.
In his remarks, shortly after the primary, Hon. Malle appreciated God for making it possible for him to win the election and described the it as peaceful and credible without any hindrance saying that all the aspirants were in support of the process.
He commended the resilient of the Electoral Committee from the National Secretariat for a job well done despite challenges and thanked the delegates for the confidence bestowed on him and State Party officials for a job well done.
He also thanked delegates and APC members for the confidence reposed on him and promised to carry everyone along for the success of the party.
