Mamu calls on youth to seek for knowledge, as Imam Malik Ibn Anas Academy, Gwagwalada graduates 81

Alhaji Abubakar Mamu has called on youth to continue seeking for knowledge for they to be enlightened and to propel Nigeria to greatness, globally.

He said in his speech as pioneer founder of Imam Malik Ibn Anas Academy, Gwagwalada, Abuja.

According to the senior citizen, “As the proprietor of this institution, I’m humbled to see the growth and development of our students. We’ve worked together to create a nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence, moral integrity, and personal growth.

“To our graduating students, I offer these parting words: never stop learning, never stop growing, and never forget the values that have guided you thus far. May Allah bless you with wisdom, knowledge, and success in all your future endeavors.

“To our parents, I express my gratitude for your trust and partnership. Your support has been instrumental in our students’ success,” he said.

Alhaji Mamu applauds the dedicated staff and management team, extends his heartfelt appreciation for their tireless efforts, expertise and commitments to excellence. Their contributions have shaped the minds and hearts of the students and he is grateful.

He congratulated the graduating class, saying they earned this moment of celebration.he hopes that it would be a stepping stone to greater achievements and a brighter future.

In his speech, the guest speaker, Dr Abdulkadir Hassan said, Education has been the backbone of development, that is why people travel to distant places to acquire knowledge, I am calling on the pupils and students to continue seeking for knowledge for they to excel in life.

In her remarks, Proprietor of the Academy, Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Mamu said this institution is assisting youth to acquire Islamic and western education at an affordable rate and also offer scholarships to the poor and orphans respectively.

The Director, Alhaji Muhammad Mamu calls on the graduating students to seek for computer and other skills for they to be employed or be employers of labour later in life.

The school Administrator, Ahmed Mamu said, 81 pupils and students graduated at the ceremony.

He Thank the school management, including:Principal, Mrs. Fatima Sherrif; Head Mistress, Mrs. Hauwa Abubakar; Head of Islamiyya, Ustaz Bashir Ladan; Head of Nursery, Miss. Umar Ummul-khairat and staff respectively.

The Manager, Mrs Hauwa Idris Mamu gave the breakdown of the figures: Early Years, 24 pupils; Primary School, 18 pupils; Junior secondary, 34 students and Senior secondary; 15 students.

Some parents who spoke at the event said, they are happy with the school administration for being responsive to their demands in relation to many issues.

Some graduates said they are proud to have been product of the academy that was founded by a career civil servant, Alhaji Abubakar Mamu.
