Management of NCS gets commendations on capacity-building, leadership training

Management of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has been commended for sponsorship of the Controller of Customs, Katsina State Command, Mohammed Abubakar Umar for a leadership training organized by the Nigerian Customs Service in collaboration with the Word Customs Organization (WCO).
The commendation was made by a public analyst in Bauchi State, Comrade Ukkasha Hamza Rahama while fielding questions from journalists Sunday evening.
He said that with a successful completion of the training, the Controller has again Strengthened his professional capacity and conduct to be able to handle official functions in the best World standard.
According to him, Mohammed Abubakar Umar must have in a number of ways, familiarized himself with other Customs Officers in Nigeria and around the world thereby expanding his professional horizons.
Ukkasha Hamza Rahama stressed that with the training, the Katsina Command Controller has further expanded his network across the board as the training will enhance his capacity to change the face of the Customs Service in Katsina State and beyond.
According to him, “He is an experienced Nigerian with multiple qualities that has transversed across the nation in ensuring that the set goals and mandate of the Nigerian Customs are not only met but achieved.”
He then expressed confidence that the Officer will continue to rebuild the Customs Service in Katsina State and the nation with his wide experience in public Service in Nigeria.
The Public analyst then charged him to put the wealth of experience garnered at the training to effect and efficient use for the good of the Nigeria Customs Service.
