Mayor of Onitsha South celebrates Anambra first lady on her birthday, calls her ‘an amazon’

The Mayor of Onitsha South Local Government Area, Chief Emeka Orji, has extended warm birthday wishes to the First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, describing her as a remarkable woman and a source of inspiration.

In his congratulatory message, Mayor Orji hailed Dr. Soludo as “an Amazon and a role model to women in Anambra State and across Nigeria.” He commended her for her outstanding contributions to public health, especially through her widely acclaimed Healthy Living Initiative.

“This day is not just about celebrating her birthday,” the Mayor stated, “but also an opportunity to recognize her impactful work, particularly in promoting healthy lifestyles and organic nutrition.”

He noted that the First Lady’s advocacy for wellness and sustainable living has earned international recognition from organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF.

“Her initiative has reached every corner of Anambra and extended its influence nationwide. It is truly worthy of emulation,” he added.

Concluding his message, Mayor Orji said, “We are immensely proud of you. Happy birthday once again, our Amazon.”
