Meet singer Ann, whose inspiration is sadness
By Dave Iyima
Ann Jeremie has a resounding voice and she is properly making use of it. The rendering of “Cry from my heart” a 4-minute, 10 seconds video single says it all.
She goes through the mid-temple song on a high pitch from the beginning to the end without betraying any stress in her voice.
Ann started singing at 12 years
Beside, the shots of the video are so sharp and the audio very clear- a good work by her producer- Solex magic who also performed “magic” with the environment of the shot mostly engaging in nature. The ambience takes advantage of water surrounded by hills. Generally, the background is soothing.
A nurse with the Catholic-run St. Gerald Hospital, Kaduna, Ann, a Chadian, whose actual name is Annishma Jeremie, said she started singing at 12 years. Now at 26, she told Apex News that her inspiration is sadness.
The 26-year-old is a nurse who loves singing
“I am a sad child. I grew up in my own world very lonely. I grew up with my both parents, yet they don’t give me attention,” she lamented.
Though sadness is her inspiration, Ann sings with joy and happiness.
