The immediate past Financial Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Alhaji Ustaz Ibrahim, has debunk the story of his defection to the rival Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Alhaji Ibrahim who reacted to the news that he and a former APC chiraman in the state, including two former speakers with others made in Barkin Ladi LGA of the state met and agreed to decamp said it was false and just a figment of mischief makers.
Making his position known in a press release signed by himself, he warned those behind the purported defection to desist from such falsehood or he will be forced to take up the matter legally.
He said, “Without mincing words, I wish to distance myself from the purported decamping which, as far as I am concerned is the work of mischief merchants.
“I also wish to call on the state APC and the faithful government, my ardent supporters, friends and well wishers to discontainance the said news item because it is a black lie in its entirety”.
Alhaji Ustaz added that for the avoidance of doubt, “I was not in Barkin Ladi on the day the so-call meeting was held and in addition; no one had dared to contact me or sold the blackmailing Idea to me to warrant a decamping”.
He then warned those behind the story to desist from such acts of blackmail ir be prepared to face the consequences of thier actions.
