It’s been there for years and each time we pass by, we just pass it as an unintentional gaffe. As you approach Lambar Yabo in Sokoto State from Birnin Kebbi, you cannot help but notice this big sign board asking you to “SOLW DOWN.”
Of course, the junctions ahead of you few meters away look rather dangerous as other vehicles and pedestrians navigate their ways into or out of the road leading into Yabo itself or another bend to the left soon after.
My quarrel is not with the message its conveying, but with the showcasing of an irritating misspelling. Is this one uncorrectable?
