Hon Mohammad Atiku Isah, a renowned politician, once student leader activist and senior scholar philosopher of the highest order.
Now being appointed as the Special Adviser on youth and entrepreneurship to Governor Bala Mohammad of Bauchi State, this shows the readiness of His Excellency, Mr Project in improving the standard of living of citizens of Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammad has been rendering various initiatives and programs in promoting sustainable development initiatives,peace and democracy across the length and breadth of the state.
Being a Federalist, he has contributed immensely at the spheres of National development in all perspectives.
Today, Bauchi State has become a reference point in African region in terms of all forms of development.
Mohammad Atiku Isah, a very honest, dedicated and active young man with the deepest desires and concerns in youth development initiatives towards improving and facilitating the Governor’s initiatives.
No doubt, Governor Mohammad is a great champion of democracy and youth development in Nigeria.
Mohammad’s appointment on advisory capacity was indeed a great testimony to Governor’s Visionary Styles of leadership and effective commitment to good governance and best practices of upholding the tenets of democracy.
With Hon Isah at helms of affairs in the youth advisory circles in Bauchi State,the state will surely attain great miracles and spirit of youth empowerment,development and prosperity in business circles that will stand the test of times.
According to UNDP report in the year 2015,indicates that Youth demographic growth constitutes 65-70 percent in Nigeria.
And it’s very imperative to know that youths are the backbone of very societal rebirth and development.
His excellency, Dr. Mohammad of Bauchi State has been doing effectively very well in managing scarce resources by improving the lives of citizens of state state via viable and solid infrastructure development.
This has effectively places Bauchi State on the global map of democracy in areas of economic development, sustainable, humanity and extension in achieving the set goals of sustainable development goals, (SDGs) in accordance with globally acceptable democratic norms, ethics, values and standard of United Nation charter.
This indeed translates genuine version of Governor’s efforts and commitment in consolidating the state to grater heights .
Just of recent the adviser attend some remarkable public functions like the Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Youth and Entrepreneurship represented Governor Mohammed at the Arewa Youth Leadership Conference and Awards 2025, held on Thursday, 17th July, at the Event Centre, Bauchi.
The event was graced by traditional leaders, youth influencers, entrepreneurs, and development partners from across Northern Nigeria to discuss pathways to sustainable youth leadership and innovation.
Delivering the Executive Governor’s address, Hon. Isah outlined key youth-focused policies and programs initiated under Governor Mohammed’s administration which include digital innovation, entrepreneurship support, and leadership development. Other key state interventions mentioned are; the soon-to-be-launched Digital Innovation Hub, Youth Enterprise Grant Scheme, and the Youth Town Hall Series aimed at amplifying the voices and aspirations of young people across all zones of the state.
He reiterated His Excellency’s belief that the true wealth of Northern Nigeria lies not in its natural resources, but in the dreams, energy, and creativity of its young people. He further commended the organisers for recognising youth as the engine of national transformation and reaffirmed Bauchi’s readiness to lead in youth-centred governance.
In recognition of his laudable strides, Governor Mohammed was honoured with a Special Award of Recognition. The Special Adviser proudly received the award on behalf of the Governor.
The conference concluded with a resounding call for synergy between government agencies, the private sector, and civil society to nurture a generation of responsible,skilled, and visionary youth leaders in Northern Nigeria and beyond.
