Muslim Pilgrims ES applauds Transparency Initiatives for promoting good governance in Bauchi

The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commended a Bauchi based political group tittled ” kungiyar masu kare muradun Gwamnan jihar Bauchi ta Radio ” for their selfless and unforgettable contributions in publicizing programmes and protecting image of this administration.

The Executive Secretary Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris gave the commendation when the group paid him a courtesy visit in his office, saying intervention of the media organisations also helped to successfully manage this situation.

He said the group has shown commitment in the discharge of their responsibility, urged them to apply more highest standard of professionalism to adequately bridge a communication gab between the people and government.

Imam Abdurrahman stressed that Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad administration has placed high leadership commitments to the provision of a legacy and people oriented projects to ensure wellbeing of a common man, emphasizing that its publicity need contribution of stakeholders.

He added that his Board is one of the priority organisation for the Government, saying Governor Bala Abdulkadir always gives listening ear to the Board when it came to issues of pilgrims welfare.

Earlier, in his speech, the Chairman of the political group, Alh. Abdullahi Mato Dan Turawan Dass said the visit is to appreciate and acknowledge the positive changes and achievements recorded by this administration during a just concluded Hajj operation.

Dan Turawan Dass hailed the Executive Secretary for his support and reiterated the group’s commitment to continue to promote Government activities.

In another development the Executive Secretary Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has been honoured today with an award of excellence by Bauchi Youth Movement for Transparency and Purposeful Leadership Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

While appreciating the award, Imam Abdurrahman described it as a call for more dedication in service to humanity.

He advised the association to expand their activities by singling out other deserved Nigerian who have excell in improving the wellbeing of their people.

Presenting the award the Chairman of the association Hon. Kabiru Bala Namadi said the celebrant was selected in appreciation of his outstanding performance and contribution towards service to humanity.

The highlight of the event are drama presentation by the tsilla tsilla artist, presentation of award and group pictures.
