The Proprietor/Director, Muyaba Science Academy, Bauchi, Alhaji Mustaph Yarima, has commended the school’s Parents-Teachers Association for their wonderful efforts and contributions towards the success story of the school since it was established.
Mustaph Yarima made the remark at the second meeting of the Parents-Teachers Association of the School held Saturday at the schools premises.
He said the purpose of organizing the association is to provide a forum for discussion of issues and solutions related to the school.
Yarima unfolded that despite the serious challenges of COVID-19 pandemic in the previous year and since the last PTA meeting in January, 2020, the school has made some tremendous records of successes which includes the separation of Nursery/Primary school with the secondary school section, development and advancement to senior secondary school, provision of suitable school furniture in both classes and offices for effective teaching and learning.
He said the school represented Bauchi State at the North-East Zonal competition for engineers, technicians and science and came third.
Other milestones achievements recorded by the school in the year under review are, the recruitment of appropriate and qualified teachers in science, arts and commercial subjects for smooth learning process, establishing quality assurance unit and employment of an experienced and seasoned educationist to lead the unit.
Earlier in her remarks , the Principal of the school, Hajiya Shamsiya Sani, thanked the proprietor for his initiative to establish the unique citadel of learning where great number of Nigerian graduates were employed.
The principal appreciated parents for trusting the school management by believing in their vision and mission and promised to transform their children in most decent and trustworthy manner both in learning and character.
